Our Vision
New England’s first ever Luxury Pet Breeder.* We focus on raising intelligent top quality bunnies that are litter box trained and well socialized so they have the potential to become a free roam bunny. Aura Rose Rabbitry is a non-profit rabbit breeder. All of the money received from bunny adoptions is spent on high quality food, hay, fresh fruits and vegetable, heating/ a/c, toys, tunnels, hideouts, bedding, grooming, deworming, and proper housing. We are also saving to someday be able to expand and provide a place for rescues and rabbits that can no longer be cared for by their owners. We have had the pleasure of taking in several rescues that were injured or malnourished and have been successful with fully rehabilitating them and finding them proper homes. This is some thing we would like to continue to do in the future as well. I previously worked at Brown University as an animal care technician and have extensive knowledge on how to properly treat and care for animals that may have an injury or sickness. This knowledge has helped us to be able to properly care for bunnies in need. We also would like to add bunny boarding for bunny parents who would like to go on vacation. This is going to be a 40-50k project to add the structure to accommodate this. All extra proceeds are being put into a savings to make this dream come true. It may take years but we will hopefully one day get there😁

We spend each day caring for all of our bunnies, including litter box training, spending time outdoors, taking them for walks, socializing them with other bunnies, pets, and children. Each one of our baby bunnies is handled since birth in our home so they are used to being in a family setting as well as being comfortable around people of all ages. We want to ensure that they are comfortable not only with us but with whoever they are adopted by. All of our bunnies are raised in a 20 square-foot area or larger. They are born and raised in our bunny nursery which is located in our home. We created this addition to our home specifically designed for the health and safety of our bunnies as well as their babies. We do not keep our bunnies in cages or use wire bottom cages as it is not good for their feet or emotional well being. We also do not raise our bunnies outdoors as it is not good for their health and well being. They are also prone to getting ticks, fleas, or parasites if kept outdoors. Bunnies are social animals and will thrive in a setting with constant interaction with people and other pets. Raising them in our home also lets us monitor them 24/7 and ensure their daily needs are being met. This also is crucial in our ESA program. To raise them as an emotional support animal they need constant attention and interaction with us. Without this they would not be able to qualify for ESA. They are constantly being held, played with, and socialized with each other. We are also dedicated to keeping all of our bunnies and their environments exceptionally clean at all times. Aura Rose Rabbitry is the only rabbitry in New England that raises bunnies in their very own luxury bunny house and bunny nursery. Each bunny is spoiled and raised as part of our family. All living areas include lots of toys, tunnels, houses, games, beds, and also have heat and air conditioning. We also start all of our bunnies on litter box training the moment they leave the nest. Most of our bunnies are almost fully potty trained before being adopted. Bunnies are also taken for walks on harnesses, in pet strollers, and the occasional car ride.
What sets Aura Rose Rabbitry apart is we are not a bunny mill or a farm. We do not raise our bunnies in breeding cages or outdoors. We give them each their own little home where they can feel safe and comfortable. Bunny mills and farms, mistreat their rabbits by breeding them in very small cages with wire bottoms. These types of breeders also keep their rabbits outside with no heat or AC. Rabbits are very sensitive to certain climates. They should never be kept outdoors all year long. They should be kept in a temperature between 60-70 degrees. The risk with adopting a bunny from a mill or Farm is also bringing home a bunny that may have a disease or parasite. When they are kept outside, they are prone to getting parasites, including fleas, ticks, and worms. We take extensive measures to ensure that all of our bunnies are parasite free by spraying our yard and around their house and run with pet safe pesticides. We also treat all of our bunnies monthly with a dewormer. We never bring in any outside bunnies or animals. When adopting a bunny from Aura Rose Rabbitry, you can rest assure that you will not have to worry about any type of pest invading your home. Or bringing home a bunny that was mistreated or neglected. All of our bunnies are 100% healthy and happy.

Our Process
Our breeding process is carefully designed to ensure the health and well-being of our bunnies. We conduct extensive health screenings and maintain a sanitized environment for them at all time. We also provide our bunnies with the best possible care, including proper nutrition, exercise, and socialization. They are raised around children and dogs so they are used to loud noises and being held. Most of our bunnies also make great ESA (Emotional Support Animals) to help with anxiety, ptsd, depression, and other mental health problems.
All of our bunnies are Pedigree however we do not provide papers unless you purchase them. If you would like papers there is an additional charge of $200 charge. Aura Rose bunnies come with a bag of transition food, bunny birth certificate, complete bunny care pdf and ebook, and are treated with an anti parasitic medicine (dewormed) so they do not contract anything. We are the 1st rabbit breeder in New England that deworms to protect against intestinal parasites as well as fleas, ticks, and mites.

🐰Reserve one of our bunnies.🐰
To reserve please send a $100 deposit along with your name, contact information, and the name of the bunny you would like to reserve. A confirmation will be sent within a few hours. To reserve a bunny a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required. For Purebred Mini Plush Lops and European Teddywidders a $200 deposit Is required. When adopting a Purebred Mini Plush Lop or European Teddywidder a pet only contract is required. We will only sell to other breeders if discussed prior to adoption. Our bunnies are bred for companionship only. In rare cases we will sell to another breeder that are not located in the New England area. These are very rare breeds and should only be bred by those who are familiar with the breed. Payment can be made via PayPal @auraroserabbitry, or Venmo @auraroserabbitry, Cashapp $auraroserabbitry, or cash deposit. Email Auraroserabbitry@yahoo.com with name, email, phone number, and the bunny you would like to reserve. PayPal, Venmo,Cashapp, or Applepay can be used for deposits but the remaining balance should be paid in cash to avoid an extra fee. If you pay remaining balance using Venmo , Cashapp, Applepay, or PayPal a 15% fee will be added. Now accepting all major credit cards subject to a 20% fee.
Reservations are final and cannot be transferred unless you would like to pay another $100 reservation fee. As that Bunny was taken off the market and could have potentially missed out on home. Reservations will hold a bunny for one week after they turn eight weeks old. For bunnies that are already eight weeks old they will be reserved for one week and then after 7 days it will be a $10 boarding fee added to each day. If a pickup date is not made within 1 week of reservation then the deposit is forfeited. If for any reason a bunny that is reserved becomes ill or passes away under my care your reservation will be transferred to another available bunny from that litter. If all bunnies are reserved on that litter then your reservation will be transferred to the next available litter. There is a $50 deposit required to make an appointment to pick out a bunny at our rabbitry. This is to ensure our safety as well as yours. It serves as a time stamp for your visit. We are not a pet store or farm so please understand that appointments are scheduled to choose a bunny in person. This is time taken out of our day so we also want to ensure whoever is booking an appointment is committed to showing up for it. Appointments are only made to choose a bunny. We do not schedule appointments for any other reason. If you have questions about purchasing a bunny from us or a particular Bunny, I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions via email or phone. The $50 deposit goes towards your bunny adoption price. If you reserve one that is not ready to leave yet the deposit will be put towards the reservation. Please note that if you schedule an appointment and miss it without notifying us 24 hours in advance there will be an $50 reschedule fee. Only babies over 6 weeks old can be handled. This is to ensure the safety and well being of our bunnies. Our bunnies are our number one priority and we do not want to stress them out or put them in harms way.

Our prices are based on the amount of money, time, care, and social media time we spend on each bunny. Prices are also based on breed, quality, fur type and color. We are the first luxury rabbit breeder in the U.S. We pamper our bunnies with their own bundominium complete with heat and a/c. They have multiple toys, tunnels, hideouts to keep them entertained. Our bunnies are on a very healthy diet which consists of high quality pellets, hay, and lots of veggies and some fruits. They have fresh blankets daily like a hotel service (lol) We really go above and beyond to make sure each of our bunnies is happy and loved. We are around our bunnies 24/7 and are consistently showering them with lots of love, cuddles, and kisses 🥰🐰We hold all of our babies every day and play with all of them in an outside run. They get plenty of exercise and cuddle time with kids and adults. We raise our bunnies to be cuddly and social pets that would be a great addition to any family. I’m a strong believer in the saying “you get what you pay for” and our bunnies are definitely worth it!

The transport company will need to be picked by the buyer. All drop offs must be made within a 30 mile radius of Coventry, Rhode Island. There will be an additional fee for anything further. This is not a delivery service it is only if you are located too far away to make the drive to our Rabbitry. There are several transport services available, specifically for bunnies. A few of our recommendations are Hippity Hop Express , Up North Pet Taxi, Cluckingham Carriage, and KD Transport. Citizenshipper is a great option as they are a private transport and offer door to door delivery and pick up. Always use someone with 4 stars or above and is background checked. We also work with private transportation companies for air transport using a flight nanny that will escort your Bunny to their destination. Just make sure that they arrive safely and do not get too stressed out during their flight. Another option is ground transport. We also work with a private ground transporter that will transport your bunny privately rather than group transportation If you are more comfortable having them travel privately. You can also research online which one is best for you.
