We aspire to expand our facilities to care for rescues and rabbits that can no longer be cared for by their owners. We’ve had the pleasure of rehabilitating several injured or malnourished rescues and finding them loving homes, a mission we hope to continue in the future. Our goal is to save enough to build a barn dedicated to helping rescue rabbits and rehabilitating those that are injured or malnourished. With my previous experience as an animal care technician at Brown University, along with over 25 years of working with animals, I possess extensive knowledge in caring for animals, allowing us to provide the best care for bunnies in need. Additionally, we plan to offer bunny boarding for pet parents wishing to go on vacation, a project that will require significant investment. All extra proceeds are being saved to make this dream a reality, which we hope to achieve in the coming years.

Daily, we care for all our bunnies through litter box training, outdoor playtime, walks, and socialization with other bunnies, pets, and children. Each of our baby bunnies is handled from birth in our home, becoming comfortable in a family setting and around people of all ages. We raise our bunnies in a spacious bunny nursery located in our home, ensuring their health and safety. Unlike bunny mills and farms, we do not keep our bunnies in cages or outdoors, as these conditions can harm their emotional and physical well-being. Our bunnies are raised in luxurious living areas with ample toys, tunnels, games, and climate control. We start litter box training the moment they leave the nest, with most becoming nearly fully potty trained before adoption. We even take our bunnies for walks on harnesses, in pet strollers, and on the occasional car ride.

Aura Rose Rabbitry's Teddywidders are full European lines (we do not have American lines) which meet the standard of perfection! Our Teddywidders are direct imports from the Netherlands and are the best of the best! Our Mini Plush Lops are also either full European or 75% European. Both breeds are showable and recognized by the ARBA in Europe, but have not officially been recognized in America. There are several breeders and groups currently working to get the Teddywidders and Mini Plush Lops recognized by the ARBA in America. When adopting these breeds from our rabbitry, you are getting top-of-the-line bunnies with the best possible temperaments!

Please do your research! There are several other rabbitries and bunny farms located around us that we have noticed over the years claim to raise emotional support animals like we do. Unfortunately, most of them are just trying to sell a bunny that is not suited to be an ESA. A bunny raised outdoors or in a cage simply cannot become an emotional support animal; they are lacking the socialization and freedom needed for their mental well-being. There are some breeders in our area that claim to have “ESA candidates” but they are just mimicking what we do here just to make a quick sale, and it is frustrating to know that breeders can take advantage of people like that. We spend countless hours ensuring that each one of our bunnies is well-suited to become someone’s emotional support animal. Having a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a child with special needs has provided us with the proper knowledge to train emotional support animals. They need extensive time spent interacting with people as well as several other factors. We are with our bunnies 24/7 as they are born and raised in our home, providing the proper environment for an ESA to thrive. When adopting one of our ESA bunnies, you can rest assured you are getting a properly trained bunny that loves to snuggle and is comfortable interacting with people.

Our Process

Our breeding process is meticulously designed to ensure the health and well-being of our baby bunnies. We conduct thorough health screenings and maintain a sanitized environment for them at all times. Our bunnies receive the best possible care, including proper nutrition, exercise, and socialization. Raised around children and other pets, all of our bunnies become desensitized through human interaction and are accustomed to loud noises and being held. We value each of our bunnies and dedicate several hours each day to working on their individual temperament and getting to know each unique personality. Many of our bunnies also serve as excellent Emotional Support Animals (ESAs), assisting with anxiety, PTSD, depression, and various mental health issues. While all of our bunnies are pedigree, we do not provide papers unless purchased, which incurs an additional charge of $100. Aura Rose bunnies come with a bag of transition food, bag of hay, pet carrier, toy, bunny birth certificate, a complete bunny care PDF and eBook, and vaccinated with bunnyvac, are also treated with anti-parasitic medicine (dewormed) to prevent health issues. We are proud to be the first rabbit breeder in New England to deworm our bunnies, protecting them against intestinal parasites, fleas, ticks, and mites. 🐰Reserve one of our adorable baby bunnies!🐰

To reserve, please send a $200 deposit along with your name, contact information, and the name of the bunny you'd like to reserve. A confirmation will be sent within a few hours. To secure a bunny, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is required. For our Purebred Mini Plush Lops and European Teddywidder bunnies for sale, a pet-only contract is required. We will only sell to other breeders if discussed prior to adoption. Our bunnies are bred solely for companionship. In rare cases, we will sell to other breeders outside the New England area, but such opportunities are limited.

Payment can be made through PayPal @auraroserabbitry, Venmo @auraroserabbitry, Cashapp $auraroserabbitry, Zelle auraroserabbitry@yahoo.com, or cash deposit. Please email Auraroserabbitry@yahoo.com with your name, email, phone number, and the baby bunny you’d like to reserve. While you can use PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp, or Apple Pay for the deposit, the remaining balance should ideally be paid in cash to avoid additional fees. If you opt to pay the remaining balance using Venmo, Cashapp, Apple Pay, or PayPal, a 15% fee will be applied. We are also now accepting all major credit cards, subject to a 20% fee.

Reservations are final and cannot be transferred unless another $200 reservation fee is paid, as that baby bunny would have been taken off the market and could have missed out on a new home. Reservations will hold a bunny for one week after they turn eight weeks old. For those already eight weeks old, our baby bunnies will be reserved for one week, after which a $10 daily boarding fee will be added. If you require us to hold a bunny longer than seven days, the balance must be paid in full by the designated 'ready by' date. If the remaining balance is not settled by that date, the deposit will be forfeited, and the bunny will be placed back up for adoption. If a pickup date is not arranged within one week of the reservation, the deposit will also be forfeited. In the unfortunate event that a reserved bunny becomes ill or passes away under our care, your reservation will be transferred to another available bunny from that litter. If all bunnies are reserved in that litter, your reservation will move to the next available litter.

A $200 deposit is required to schedule an appointment to select a bunny at our rabbitry. This fee ensures both our safety and yours and serves as a reservation for your visit. We are not a pet store or farm, so please understand that appointments are designed solely for picking out a bunny. It’s important to ensure that those booking an appointment are committed to attending. If you have questions about purchasing a bunny or a particular baby bunny, feel free to reach out via email or phone. The $200 appointment fee is a deposit that contributes to your bunny adoption price. If you reserve a bunny that is not yet ready to leave, your deposit will go toward that reservation. Please note that if you schedule an appointment and do not show up without notifying us 24 hours in advance, a $100 reschedule fee will apply. Only babies over six weeks old can be handled to ensure their safety and well-being.

Our prices reflect the money, time, care, and social media efforts we invest in each of our baby bunnies. Pricing is also dependent on breed, quality, fur type, and color. We pride ourselves on being the first luxury rabbit breeder in the U.S., pampering our bunnies with a dedicated nursery for expecting moms and their babies, along with a separate bundominium for our herd ready to go to new homes, all equipped with heating and air conditioning. Our bunnies have access to a variety of toys, tunnels, and hideouts to keep them entertained. They receive a very healthy diet, including high-quality pellets, hay, fresh vegetables, and occasional fruits. Each bunny gets a fresh blanket daily, much like a hotel service (lol). We go above and beyond to ensure our bunnies are happy and loved. Our team is available 24/7 to shower them with affection, cuddles, and kisses. We engage with all our baby bunnies daily, allowing them to play in an outdoor run and within our home, ensuring they get ample exercise and socialization with both kids and adults. We nurture our bunnies to be cuddly and friendly, making them wonderful additions to any family. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for," and our bunnies are truly worth it!

The transport service must be chosen by the buyer. All drop-offs must occur within a 30-mile radius of Coventry, Rhode Island, and additional fees apply for greater distances. This is not a delivery service; it's intended for buyers too far to visit our rabbitry. Several transport services cater specifically to bunnies, with our recommendations including Hippity Hop Express, Up North Pet Taxi, Cluckingham Carriage, and KD Transport. Citizenshipper provides a great option with private door-to-door delivery. Always ensure to choose a transporter with a minimum four-star rating and proper background checks. We also collaborate with private transportation companies for air transport, where a flight nanny will accompany your bunny to ensure safe and stress-free travel. Ground transport options are available too, with a private transporter for those who prefer individual travel over group transport. You can research online to find the best fit for your needs. When using a transport service, we will waive the 15% fee for payments made via credit card or apps; however, transition hay, toys, blankets, and pet carriers are not included. If you wish to include these items, there will be a $75 fee. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the transport pickup.

Return and Refund Policy

Aura Rose bunnies come with a 1 year health guarantee. If for any reason, your bunny gets sick due to genetics, we will gladly exchange your Bunny for a different one.
All sales are final otherwise
For no reason will we give a refund even if it’s within 1-2 days after adoption
Once the bunny leaves our care we are no longer responsible for them. Any veterinary expenses accrued due to a health condition are the adopter’s responsibility unless it is a generic issue in which case we will take the bunny back and give a different bunny.
If adopting more than 1 bunny there is no guarantee that the bunnies will always get along. Sometimes they may need to be rebonded or separated If they are inflicting injury upon each other.

🐰ADOPTION AGREEMENT 🐰

Reservations are final and cannot be transferred to a different Bunny as that Bunny was taken off the market and could have missed out on another potential home. Reservations will hold a bunny for up to 1 week once they are ready to go at 8 weeks old or for 1 week after reservation is made for older bunnies. After 1 week there will be a $10 boarding fee per day. If a pickup date is not made within 1 week of reservation then the deposit will be forfeited. When having a bunny transported out of state through a transport company the full balance must be paid 48 hours before pickup. If you would like us to hold a bunny for more than 1 week the balance must be paid in full by the end of the 1 free week

of holding. If the balance is not paid by the end of that week the deposit will be forfeited and the bunny will go back up for adoption. We will only sell same sex pairs or multiples. Bunnies can get pregnant every 30 days and at just 3 months old! When waiting to choose a bunny from waitlist please know that we have the right to retain a bunny from a litter if we feel it will help our breeding program. It rarely happens but occasionally we will keep

one from a waitlist litter. We do not sell to other breeders unless they are located outside of the New England area. When adopting from us you agree not to breed a bunny purchased from our rabbitry. We do not sell bunnies under 8 weeks old. We do not sell to anyone under the age of 18 unless a parent or guardian is with them or the parents have given verbal or written consent. Bunnies must be cared for daily and taken to a vet if medical attention is needed. You agree that your bunny will be housed in a spatial area and not kept in a small cage. You agree to keep your bunny in good health and give it daily pellets, hay, and clean water as well as keeping its living environment clean. You agree not to mistreat your bunny or use it for any experimental purposes. For our privacy videos and/ or photos are strictly prohibited while on our property. We cannot guarantee the sex of your bunny as it is extremely difficult to tell the sex of a rabbit at a young age. No breeder will ever guarantee the gender 100%. We are not responsible for your bunny once it leaves our care and cannot accept it back due to bio security reasons. All sales are final. If you adopt one of our bunnies, you agree to our sales policy.

🐰Health Guarantee🐰

Out exclusive 1 year health guarantee will cover any genetic disorders resulting in the loss of your bunny. We are confident you will not encounter any issues so we have extended our health guarantee to one year! We do not cover any diseases that can be picked up from outside sources. Our bunnies are thoroughly checked for any health issues before leaving our rabbitry. They all leave in top quality condition or they will not be put up for adoption. Once the bunny leaves our Rabbitry, we are not responsible for accidental death from not properly caring for your bunny or not properly bunny proofing. Through our health guarantee we will gladly replace your bunny if you decide to do so in the event that there was a genetic disease discovered by a qualified rabbit savvy vet. We need documents stating the results from a qualified vet.

🐰VIP WAITLIST🐰

If you would like to be added to our waitlist, please send an email with your name, email address or phone number, and which litter you would like to be added to along with a $200 deposit. The deposit Is deducted from the total price of whichever bunny you choose. Remaining balance due at pickup. Waitlisted will get to choose their bunny based on a first come first serve basis. Waitlist will be notified every couple of weeks with updated pics and videos of the litter they are placed on. Waitlist will get to choose their bunny before we post them available to the general public. You will be notified a few days prior to when we post the babies to our website. Once I email whoever is on the waitlist, they will have 24 hours to respond if they do not respond back, I will move onto the next person on the waitlist. It is the responsibility of the person on the waitlist to check in with me and check our website or social media for updates on the Babies. If you do not have social media please let us know and we will email or text you updated pics and video. We will reach out a couple weeks before the bunnies are ready to go home to schedule an appointment. If we do not hear back and an appointment is not scheduled 1 week prior to the ready to go date your deposit will be forfeited. If we reach out about the bunnies being available, and you are able to now choose but do not hear back we will move down the waitlist. Deposit is nontransferable and nonrefundable. Waitlisters will also receive a small goody bag to go home with their bunny🐰
